This is the sixth scroll text I’ve done (for those keeping score – the fourth one has not yet been given out, so no blog post yet). It is for the Order of the Silver Wheel, the East Kingdom Armigerous award (AoA level) for Service. It’s my second non-Russian text.

At a certain time Brennan was on the throne of the East along with his own wife, Caoilfhionn, at their Barony of Settmour Swamp on the second of April, AS L. They were not long there till they saw three heralds there coming towards them.
‘Prosperous be thy pleasant works, O King, O Queen,’ said the heralds.
‘The same to you, O heralds,’ said they.
‘It is happy for thee,’ said the heralds.
‘It is happy, indeed,’ said they. ‘Ye shall have share of the happiness,’ said they.
‘Do you not yourself know, O King, O Queen,’ said the heralds, ‘the happiness which is destined for you?’
‘We have not knowledge of it as yet,’ said they.
‘We have the knowledge of it for you,’ said the heralds: ‘many Silver Wheels you have had until this day; you shall have another Silver Wheel now; and she shall make your rule a glorious one. It is certain that you shall travel amongst the populace and there shall be a clever, hardworking herald of them: and her name shall be Muirenn ingen Dúnadaig. And you shall grant onto her a Silver Wheel”
‘Well, O King, O Queen,’ said the heralds, ‘wilt you do as we have said?’ ‘We will, indeed,’ said they.
