This is the first scroll text I’ve done. It’s a Golden Martlet, a baronial award for the Barony of Bryn Gwlad. The scroll was inspired by this original: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/266064290459521716/
The text was inspired by the Donative of Fedor Mihailov of land on Bobrovoi mountain promised to the house of St. Sofia. Dated 1459-1469, . Charter # 217, p. 241, Gramoty Velikogo Novgoroda i Pskova (Charters of Great Novgorod and Pskov), Moscow, 1949

Се язъ Барон Фелим Герваиз и Баронесса Мифанвай ферч Еифион списали рукописанье при своихъ животах. А приказываим на нашего слугу Гришку Кравтсовича, награду свою Золотой Ласточки Брин Глада, за услуги его для нашей вотчине. А хто се рукописанье переступитъ, судится с нами пред богом в день страшного суда. А дана ся грамота пятом февраля лета сорок пять, или 7511, или 2011.
Literal translation:
And so, Baron Phelim Gervase and Baroness Myfanwy Ferch Eifion wrote this manuscript during their lives. And ordered unto our servant Grishka Kravtsovich, our award of the Golden Martlet of Bryn Gwlad, for his service to our barony. And any who violate this manuscript shall have to have trial with us before god on the day of the great judgment. And this charter is given on the fifth day of February, year 45, or 7511*, or 2011.
*Medieval Russia used the Byzantine Calendar, in which 2011 would be approximately 7511.
